BODYTITE BENEFITS

BodyTite is perfect for patients looking to remove stubborn fat and lift tissue to resolve loose and sagging skin. Popular treatment sites include buttocks, flanks, bra roll, back, knees, thighs, arms, neck, and abdomen. BodyTite is done under a local anesthetic with or without oral sedation like Valium. A specialized device is used to administer RFAL. This wand has a thin probe that Dr. Hendrick inserts into the selected tissues with a second probe that sits on top.

When activated, the wand emits energy from the internal probe to melt excess fat and heat target tissue, which rests between the two probes. The mechanism displays the tissue’s temperature outside and inside which allows Dr. Hendrick to deliver heat safely and effectively. When the optimal temperature is reached, the skin and underlying tissue contract. Then, the liquefied fat is easily removed using a traditional liposuction cannula.

BODYTITE RESULTS

Because there is less trauma to the skin and underlying tissue, Bodytite results have less swelling, bruising and discomfort than surgery after treatment. Your expected downtime will be one to two days depending on the location of the treatment site and the number of sites we treat. Wearing a compression garment will be necessary for three to four weeks.

Visible results are immediate and will continue to improve for approximately three months. The most remarkable outcomes are how well the skin contracts back to a firm texture and skin quality improvement with only one BodyTite session necessary.

RFAL TECHNOLOGY

The crucial component of RFAL technology is its built-in safeguards like automatic cut-off temperature levels, internal and external temperature monitoring in real time, and the selected use of properly trained aesthetic physicians.

The technology was FDA-approved in 2016 and radio frequency has been in cosmetic medicine for over two decades. Before approval in the United States, the manufacturer InMode finetuned the mechanism in South America, Europe, and Canada starting in 2011.

You can have BodyTite done at our office in New Orleans. It is done as an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia with or without sedation. You will go home the same day as the treatment.

BodyTite carries significantly fewer complications and risks when compared to conventional liposuction surgery. You may experience minor bruising and swelling after the procedure, but complications are rare and effects are temporary.

One treatment session per body area is enough for most patients. The treatment takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes per treatment site.
