What is QWO?

QWO is the only FDA-approved treatment for cellulite, explicitly designed for adult women.

QWO works by reversing the causes leading to dimpled skin, i.e., releasing structures that connect the skin surface with fatty tissue.

How Does QWO Work?

Collagenase is the active substance in the QWO injectable formula. This substance has shown to have numerous positive effects, including:

  • Dissolves fibrous bands responsible for holding the skin to fatty tissue.
  • Redistributes fatty tissue over an even surface, which eliminates dimples from the skin surface.
  • Collagenase promotes collagen growth within the skin. Collagen gives our skin structural integrity, so more collagen means firmer, smoother skin.

Am I a Good Candidate for QWO?

If you’re an adult woman who wants to treat cellulite, then YES! You are an ideal candidate for QWO treatment.

Over the year, scores of beauty brands and companies have laid claim to successful cellulite treatments – none of which have been FDA approved nor stood up to rigorous scientific testing.

If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of women who have tried creams, brushes, rollers to treat cellulite, only to be disappointed, then QWO injectable treatment is for you.

What makes a candidate even more suitable for QWO treatment is going into the procedure with realistic expectations for what the procedure can help achieve.

What can I Expect Before, During, and After my QWO treatment?

QWO injectable treatment is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure. As such, patients don’t need to over-prepare for their New Orleans QWO treatment. However, we do have some suggestions for what to expect at different stages of the treatment:

The most critical step in treating your cellulite is reaching out to the team at NOLA to begin your cellulite treatment. We appreciate that openly talking about your cellulite can cause anxiety, but discussing how your cellulite makes you feel and how differently you would feel after it’s treated is essential to helping us identify your goals for the procedure.

QWO patients will require anywhere between three-six separate visitations to reach their desired results, so deciding on your injection schedule before commencing treatment is also essential.

Patients who enjoy the best results from QWO treatment are those in top health. Maintaining a balanced diet with frequent exercise in the months leading up to your first QWO treatment will enhance your results.

Individual sessions take only fifteen minutes – which is why many patients choose to get their QWO treatments during a lunch break. The procedure is non-invasive and doesn’t require anesthesia, so patients can happily drive themselves to and from our New Orleans clinic on Napoleon Avenue.

Patients don’t need any downtime after their QWO injections so that they can return to their regular routine following treatment.

FAQS: QWO IN NEW ORLEANS

QWO doesn’t have any recovery time. In all clinical trials, volunteers noticed some minor bruising but no side effects that altered their normal routines.

The new QWO treatment is only being offered by select providers. As such, patients might need to travel for their QWO appointments, and we do recommend waiting twenty-four hours before flying after your injections.

The QWO treatment is FDA approved, but nonetheless, there are potential risks associated with the treatment:

  • Bruising is the most common side effect
  • Hardness, itching, redness, discoloration, swelling, and a feeling of warmth around the injection site are also possible

QWO appointments take between ten to twenty minutes per appointment.

The number of treatments required by each patient depends on several factors:

  • Patient’s goals
  • Current physical state
  • Weight

Your practitioner will advise how many injections you’ll require during your initial consultation.

Again, the treatment cost depends on the patient. However, most QWO treatments fall between $2,000 and $5,000.
