What is Nano-Fat Grafting
Nano-fat grafting uses a sophisticated fat transfer process which repositions fat from one part of the body and grafts it to a treatment site to achieve certain cosmetic goals. During the treatment, small amounts of emulsified fat are delivered to a designated area to increase volume, reduce voids, and fill in fine lines and wrinkles.
The fat is drawn from a donor site by liposuction and then purified and isolated. The fat contains a high level of platelet-rich plasma with a concentration of living growth and healing factors. This autologous (patient’s own) fat is then injected into the treatment area with a special device known as a cannula. The procedure takes place in our state-of-the-art facility conveniently located in Uptown New Orleans.
Because it is impossible to know how much living fat will survive in the treatment site, multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve optimal results. However, you should realize visible improvement after each session.
