In the next few weeks, family dinners, holiday gatherings, and New Year’s bashes will be plastered all over your holiday schedule. To look your best during the season, many New Orleanians are considering the natural results of Nano-fat grafting. If you want to look great for the upcoming holidays, then now is the time to start the process and see what advanced procedure is right for you.
At the New Orleans Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery, we offer Nano-fat grafting to revive youthful your appearance and enhance your facial beauty and body contours.
What is Nano-Fat Grafting
Nano-fat grafting uses a sophisticated fat transfer process which repositions fat from one part of the body and grafts it to a treatment site to achieve certain cosmetic goals. During the treatment, small amounts of emulsified fat are delivered to a designated area to increase volume, reduce voids, and fill in fine lines and wrinkles.
The fat is drawn from a donor site by liposuction and then purified and isolated. The fat contains a high level of platelet-rich plasma with a concentration of living growth and healing factors. This autologous (patient’s own) fat is then injected into the treatment area with a special device known as a cannula. The procedure takes place in our state-of-the-art facility conveniently located in Uptown New Orleans.
Because it is impossible to know how much living fat will survive in the treatment site, multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve optimal results. However, you should realize visible improvement after each session.
What to Expect
Improvements include resolving facial blemishes including depressions, acne scarring, sunken cheeks, undereye hollows, and thin lips. The treatment itself is not only effective but safe and cost-effective. Results vary from patient to patient and depend on how much fat will survive the transferring process. However, we have seen amazing results on the neck, hands, chest, and face.
Using the patient’s own fat, instead of a synthetic filler, yields longer lasting results because the fat cells which survive will live in the treatment area. Unlike dermal fillers, this volume enhancement treatment can provide permanent results and eliminate the need for touch up appointments in the future.
Other Procedures to Consider
During the consultation process, we may suggest other procedures to enhance your appearance in time for the holiday season. These include non-surgical treatments like Botox, dermal fillers, CoolSculpting, laser skin resurfacing, and chemical peels.
