FACETITE IN NEW ORLEANS

Individuals who need to tighten up facial skin but are not ready for a facelift may consider the minimally-invasive treatment, FaceTite. This procedure uses radiofrequency technology to deliver results often associated with a mini-facelift but without the incisions, sutures, or the risk of scarring. At New Orleans Premier Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery, we offer this revolutionary treatment to rejuvenate skin tone and texture with only one treatment session. With FaceTite you can take years off your face and neck without downtime or discomfort.

WHAT IS FACETITE?

Genetics, lifestyle and environmental factors like sun exposure can take a severe toll on our skin health; especially around the face, neck, and chin.  These effects may also contribute to a facial appearance which is older than you feel. Although surgical solutions are available to resolve these cosmetic concerns, many patients are not ready for surgery just yet. Here is where FaceTite may be the right fit for your aesthetic goals.

This groundbreaking technology tightens skin through radiofrequency energy penetrating below the skin surface deep into the dermis. We perform Facetite under a local anesthetic. The procedure is painless as the hand-held attachment emits radiofrequency through an internal electrode. With no incisions and only tiny pins penetrating the skin surface, the wounds heal in a matter of days. Each session duration is under an hour delivering instant visible improvement which continues from three to eight weeks. This continuous enhancement is possible because collagen regeneration is sustained for several weeks.

The procedure is designed for target areas above the shoulders improving textures at these recommended sites:

  • Cheeks
  • Neck
  • Jawline
  • Forehead
  • Mouth
  • Eyes

FaceTite is effective in reducing and softening jowls, a furrowed brow, and nasolabial folds.

IS FACETITE SAFE?

There are few procedures in cosmetic medicine which are safer while being as efficient as FaceTite. It allows our patients to avoid the risks and potential complications we associate with a more invasive surgical procedure. These include adverse anesthesia reactions, extended healing periods, and a reposition of underlying tissues. Patients will enjoy natural results which will enhance their beauty without the risks. The technology is proven safe as it is the same radiofrequency in Thermage, MRIs and other medical treatments safely administered for years.

FaceTite was created to treat delicate skin without causing cellular damage to adjacent tissue. The device is fully equipped with safeguards including thermal controls on the applicator.

FACETITE VALUE

Although this skin tightening treatment is relatively new (introduced in 2011), FaceTite reviews have been incredibly positive. Most patients realize a 40% improvement in tightness soon after the procedure.

In one FaceTite trial involving ten patients aged 45-66, cheek, jawline and neck tightening was evident with every patient. Each participant in the study did report significant improvement in skin flexibility. None of these patients experienced severe complications, and every patient was satisfied with the degree of tightening attained. FaceTite can take five to seven years off your facial appearance after only one session.

FaceTite tightens and restores sagging areas of the skin, resulting in a toned, youthful appearance to the forehead, cheeks, jawline and other target sites. The Radiofrequency technology promises the additional benefit of no discomfort, short treatment duration, and a quick recovery. Clinical trials and patient reports propose FaceTite results are equivalent to those of a mini facelift and can last up to five years.

FACETITE COST

FaceTite prices depend on multiple factors including the type and severity of the loose skin and number of treatment sites. However, the cost typically runs between 30-50% lower than surgery.

FACETITE RECOVERY

Because FaceTite requires only a tiny needle to administer heat energy deep into the underlying tissue, the recovery period is short. There will be nominal swelling and tenderness for a few days with most patients back to work within a week.

FACETITE FAQS

Yes. Patients will realize nominal inflammation after FaceTite, lasting approximately seven days.  The swelling will subside on its own but may be accompanied by bruising and redness.

FaceTite does penetrate the skin surface which carries some risk for nerve damage, but this complication has never been reported. When a board-certified facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon administers FaceTite, the possibility of nerve damage as with other risks are minimal. If there is bruising, there may be some numbness which will diminish after about one month.

FaceTite results will last for approximately five years which is similar to a mini facelift. Afterward, the skin will age naturally. Lifestyle habits like smoking may affect the lifespan of the procedure.

Any area above the shoulders including the neck, jowls, cheeks, forehead and nasolabial folds is a suitable area for FaceTite treatments.

No. We administer local anesthesia which will decrease discomfort. Because the procedure is possible without a general anesthetic, no overnight stay or prolonged recovery is necessary.
