Melissa Murphy, Office Manager

MELISSA MURPHY

Office Manager

Melissa was born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. During her time at Loyola, she was a very active member of her sorority Gamma Phi Beta. Melissa completed her senior year internship with Ochsner Health Systems in their Human Resources Department. That is where she discovered her passion for the healthcare industry. Melissa went on to work for a local dermatology practice where she was an integral part of opening several new locations throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Melissa continued to advance in her role with that practice and stepped into the Human Resources Director position where she managed the employees of ten locations.

She then decided to take on a new role as Practice Administrator of a well-established orthopedic practice. During that time, she continued to expand her knowledge of business operations. Melissa was thrilled to bring her years of healthcare experience to New Orleans Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery when she accepted the Office Manager position in July 2018. She finds her position rewarding since she gets to work closely with amazing doctors and staff as well as awesome patients! In her free time, Melissa loves going to music festivals, trying new restaurants, and baking sweet treats.

Peighton P. Rothkamm, Patient Care Coordinator & Coolsculpting Team Leader

PEIGHTON P. ROTHKAMM

Patient Care Coordinator

Peighton joined our team in October of 2018 as our front office manager. Peighton was born and raised in Baton Rouge where she attended Saint Joseph’s Academy and LSU. She has always been interested in finding different ways to help others and serve the community. While earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology at LSU, she participated in medical mission trips to Belize and Nicaragua. On these trips she was able to work in a free health clinic to screen and treat families in the local impoverished areas. After completing her degree, Peighton worked for a few years in a physical therapy clinic where she assisted patients undergoing rehabilitation programs.

Though Peighton enjoyed her time in Baton Rouge, she always had a feeling that New Orleans would be her true home. In joining our team, she was able to accomplish two goals, continuing a career where she can help others to improve their lives and moving to New Orleans. The best part of her day is being able to see the joy others experience when they look and feel their best.

Peighton is passionate about empowering everyone to be the best versions of themselves. She believes hard work is rewarded with more joy and balance in life. For Peighton, this means discovering new places and cultures and exploring her new city’s amazing restaurants and festivals.

Christine Javier

Patient Care Coordinator

Christine was born and raised here in New Orleans. She joined the New Orleans Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery in February 2021 as a Patient Care Coordinator. She has worked in the plastic surgery field for over 10 years. She feels the best part of her job is the journey she takes with each patient. This includes everything from the time they come into the office for a consultation to getting them through surgery and watching the excitement on their faces when they see their before and after pictures. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, shopping, and dining at great restaurants with her husband. She also enjoys Friday lunches with her girlfriends. She feels that she has found her forever home here at NOCAPS and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible practice.

Abbey joined our team at the New Orleans Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery in 2021 as our Medical Aesthetician. She graduated with her Bachelor degree from Louisiana State University in Elementary Education; however, she knew she wanted to expand her teaching into her true passion- skincare. She loves customizing individualized treatment plans & choosing the best products for each patient’s skin type. Whether you want to learn more about maintaining, protecting, preventing or reversing damage, she will be there to guide you throughout your journey. Her favorite treatments include: Morpheus 8, VI peels, Hydrafacials, and Excel V laser! Her favorite part of her job is seeing the boost of confidence on her patients’ faces each time they walk through the door.
